Each month, dynamic women gather around a new themed table—not to network, but to connect. To laugh freely. To share honestly. To cheer one another on. To be reminded that success is about more than accomplishments—it's also about community.

I created the table I spent years looking for.

When I moved back to Atlanta six years ago, I thought reconnecting with old friends would be easy. But life had changed. We had all grown in different directions, and I found myself longing for something deeper—a community of women who genuinely inspired one another, celebrated one another, and showed up for one another.
So, for the next four years, I did something that many people are afraid to do. I went anyway. I attended restaurants, networking events, conferences, concerts, and experiences alone. Occasionally my sister or cousin would join me, but most of the time it was just me. At first, it felt uncomfortable. Eventually, it became empowering.
Little by little, I discovered that showing up consistently opened the door to meaningful connections. Over time, I began meeting incredible women—women who shared my values, my faith, my ambition, and my desire for authentic friendship. Women I've now gone to church with. Women whose homes I've visited. Women whose major milestones I've celebrated. Women I've golfed with, done yoga with, double dated with, encouraged through career transitions, and simply done life with. Today, I can honestly say... I have real friends. And I'm deeply grateful for them.
As someone who naturally loves bringing people together, I began hosting intimate dinners for Atlanta's tech community two years ago. Then one evening, I decided to host a dinner exclusively for women. Something about that night felt very different. The conversations were deeper. More vulnerable. The laughter was louder. The encouragement came naturally. Women who had arrived as strangers left feeling like sisters. There was something truly magical about gathering remarkable women around one wonderfully curated table. That evening became the inspiration for what is now known as 8Ate.
Today, every 8Ate Soirée is designed to recreate that same feeling. A place where accomplished women come beautifully. Where vulnerability is welcomed. Where confidence is celebrated. Where women clap for one another and support one another. Where every detail is intentional. Because I know what it's like to search for your people. And I also know how life-changing it is when you finally find them. Welcome to the experience. Welcome to 8Ate.
